Donation policy

Our training aids are free. Donating is for us a sign of your appreciation for the time we spend to create our training aids, as well as to develop and maintain this web site.

In September 2008 Rafael Ornes, founder and manager of The Choral Public Domain Library, stepped back from an active role with CPDL. A group of volunteers who have been active on CPDL worked out a transition plan. The group of volunteers included Massimo Capozza, founder and manager of Choralia. He donated the amount urgently required to migrate CPDL to more powerful and reliable servers, as well as to set-up and operate additional servers for back-up and site diversity purposes. To offer continuous support to CPDL Massimo Capozza is allocating to CPDL one third of all the donations received for Choralia since January 2008.

You may donate any amount. It may be the equivalent in money of a beer, or a pizza, or whatever you would like offering to us if we were with you at a bar or at a restaurant. Normally, if the training aids are used by a choir, you may collect from each singer a small amount of money that anybody can easily afford, and make a collective donation.

You may donate by credit card through the donations page. Secure credit card transactions are made via PayPal. If you have no credit cards, or if you don't like using credit cards on the internet, please contact us, and we will propose to you alternative ways to donate.

If you have no budget for a donation, we would appreciate you to contact us anyway, even just to say "thank you".
